Hi all, This is a slow burning project that I'm beginning to start putting paint on this weekend in readiness for ANZAC Day on 25 April. It is also part of up-skilling myself in readiness for a once in a lifetime experience next year. I have won two places at Centennial memorial services in Gallipoli 2015. http://www.gallipoli2015.govt.nz/ This is an incredible honour, especially as just learnt one of my Great Uncles served there for a short time while another was deployed to the forward staging area ready for the operation. Both served in NZ Mounted Rifles Wellington Regiment. So here's the project: ANZACs @ Gallipoli Vignette continues with more Tommys War conversions.NZ Native Contingent Officer directs a young Maori soldier upon arrival on shore early July 1915.
