This has taken me a bit longer than most figures, mainly because of the chain mail. Now it's finished I am very pleased with they way it's turned out.
I was way out of my comfort zone with this figure but enjoyed the whole affair

Thank you all for more great compliment's, this was nearly painted as a Voltiguer. Exploring a different period gave me a boost and got the mojo juices flowing again. Will have to decide what gets to the bench next.

I was looking for something different to do and I saw you post from a couple of months ago, I knew then that something with chainmail and armour would be the next one.
So I can blame you for getting me hooked.
The Vikings was a nick name for my old Regiment so it seemed appropriate too paint a Viking
