Nice flesh tones on the face.

    hello all
thnaks for your comments.i got some tipps and will now try to enlarge the colour spectrum of the andrea paints with some cool tones to get an wider range.in any case i have already seen that this colours make life much easier because they work very well and are not drying so fast like revells acrylics which let you nearly no time for blending.
its hard to believe that acrylics from different makers have so totally different aspects in them.
so iam an convert in ways to andrea.even if the nozzles still clogg.so always pocking with the needle
    thanks so far.
    cheers

    hello
here painting did go on.i wanted some decoration on the hat.medieval people did fancy decorations.so if one looks at items from the wreck of henry the eights ship MARY ROSE even bow mans bracers of leather had stamped in decorations.girtles where decorated with stiching.ect
so i opted for some decorations on the hat like stiched or embroidered.in the style it could be have used in this time frame.
one should avoid to use to many differenet colours.and the colours should be not to bright.some muted tomes work best.ion the boxart the bust has an violett jack an red hat which do not look too appealing.if one goes more for the colour range used in that times you end with an really lovely item
    cheers
