    Hello guys,
its have been a while since my last figure. I was working on a bust from Apocalypto movie, the Maya priest. Viktor Konnov did a fantastic job on this, and for me it was quite a joy to paint it. First time for me being here on the forum I post just the final pics. It is because I did so many corrections in my painting, that it would be quite unreadable for you how I paint. I gone through many filters, because firstly I start face too dark, than I realized the body should be more in the light, soo ufff it´s been quite a quest to finish this one. My friends, any comments are very much welcome, the critics as well...

Very nicely done Robert! The jade is particularly well done! Could you possibly share any mixes or hints for how you painted the jade?

I can only state what the others have said. Extremely high standard of painting. The flesh tones are very well done as is the overall tone of the figure.

    Hi Robert
Very nice movie, but the piece came from the priest there is very good.
I quite like the color of skin you have succeeded very nice as the metallic green elements are attributed great.
However, although the wings give more light on the bodice maybe some blue-green or yellow to give him a different picture.
However it has done a good job and I love

Thank you all guys form your kind words. All I must say I am realy happy to have this finished, because after all it is a monumental bust and a very interesting subject to have it in a collection.

for the flesh tones I used brown madder, english brown, mars orange and naples yellow and a bit of titanium white

for the jade I used an acrylic dark blue grey (vallejo) and washed it with thraka green citadel wash and the applied green oil colour, which is darken with van dyck brown or highlighted with titanium white+green

Yesterday I made some better pictures from stative, so I put it here, because they are much more readable, than the previous ones.
