Hey all,

Thought I'd try a conversion. I picked up a Russell Crowe gladiator bust from a parts bin in Atlanta. Greg Bowman gave me the idea to convert it to his character from MaC. He's about 70% done...

Hey James,

He is looking good but there is something missing. ;) have you seen the movie? He has some damage to his left ear. Here is a picture.

Great catch Joe. Yes, I did notice that, but wasn't going to include it - looked kind of wierd. They never mentioned it in the movie (that I recall), I guess the real Jack Aubry had such an injury?

Great idea, Jim. One of my favorite movies!! Let's see more as you progress.

I was a little disappointed though. You left the "s" out of your posting title. I thought we had a new Phoenix Phollies vignette!!

Jim, Nice but. I would fill in every other buttonhole on his waistcoat as a period one would only have about 9-10 buttons from throat to waist.~Gary

Thanks guys.

You left the "s" out of your posting title.

Oops. Hate it when that happens...

Will do Gary! (Attention to detail... Attention to detail... )

Jim - I wasn't being critical of your typing - I was hoping to goad you into a "mater" compaion for this piece! ;) ... and having a little pfunnn to boot!
Pat, no offense taken. I was commenting on my spelling skills, not your post. :)

Hope to get him done by this weekend.
