Hi Guys,I have finally finished my bust of Maori chief Hori Kingi Te Anaua. The bust was sculpted from Magic sculpt and painted in Vallejo and Maimeri acrylic paints. Hope you like the end result.I plan to take him to the New Zealand I.P.M.S Nationals in Wellington NZ in September.

John, that's an AWESOME bust to say the least!!!! BRAVO!!!

Wish you luck at the IPMS Nationals, but on the other hand it would be a great pity if you don't let this bust travel to Euro as I'm dying to see it "in the flesh"

Fine sculpting and painting. It must be very difficult to paint the tattoos this realistic.

    Hi John,
Stunning piece of work. As everyone else has commented, the Moko and face is superb. I also like the Maori design on his "shawl". Show stopper!!!

Masterfully done John! I like the contrast between the tribal elements and the suit on this piece. The eyes are soulful and alive.
