WIP Mameluk

Hi Guys,

Been working on this old bust from Verlinden I think a Mameluk , the eyes are done .....needs a bit more cutting in , remaining areas base coated .

Needed to do something without squares on it after the Jordanian !!!..lol

Hi Kev interesting bust this one.
You could give it the full 'Saladin' skintones with very
dark eye socket shadows.
What are you planning?.

Hi Paul,

It's a straight classic bust , definately darker tones ,like the shadows idea ......going for something similar to the Jordanian..whenI have painted that flesh .

Mmm it could be worthwhile painting both faces at the same time, maybe just more highlights on one, but getting the darker tones similar.

Ohhh boy, my brush fingers are itching to go and I am sitting at the wrong desk...I have just arrived at work....bugger!

Nap check your parental controls on your pc.
Carole may have blocked you from 4 letter words like work...legs and so on.
it explain a lot.
