Next one on the bench between Stormtrooper's two new 1/6th busts is this Maharajah from La Medidiana Miniatures



I have found out thanks to some friends that he is Lt. General Sir Pratap Singh, Maharajah of Idar

Yes Nap, only the one in the photo as well, Queen Victoria Golden Jubilee Medal 1887, he also got the bar to it 10 years later for the Diamond Jubilee. He is also wearing the star of the GCSI, Knight Grand Commander of the Order of the Star of India, awarded in 1897.

Today's update,

A couple of main coats on the top in Ivory and the lacing, shoulder boards and Aiguillette base coated in Green Ochre, medal ribbon and surround of Star also base coated.



Base Azure coat given to turban.

Thanks Nap, it was as good few hours, I did think I would use the pearl medium on the top to give the silk look.

I think Matt is out of stock at the moment but more ordered, with a bit of luck it shouldn't be too long to wait.

No work on him tomorrow, hospital app't to remove some skin cancer from my neck, it not much of a problem but it keeps weeping on the pillow so it's got to go.
