I think this guy is coming along quite nicely. I like the fact that the metals are done in oils as well. They look like they could stand just a bit more contrast to me, maybe just the photos though. Keep us posted.
Johan, the cuirass looks really great, painting it with oils must be a challenge.
If you will be able to achieve the same result for the basement, I think you will get a very outstanding piece.
Johan , so good so far. I like the armour a lot. What technique did you use?
Done right, oil paints are the best for this kind of figure. And this is done right.
I saw this figure last thuesday at our clubmeeting and guys believe me it is in life better then in the picture's. That cuiras is awesome.
Johan, believe me this is gonna be one of your best. I now he is giving you some pain but at the end it is all worth it.
Looks nice so far, I like the way you painted the bronze.
I would give the helmet a few highlights for contrast.
Keep up the good work.
This is great work, Johan. It really looks great - I like the contracts between the cuirass and the purple. Helmet looks sharp as well.
Great job so far...
Johan Hi . There is a pretty good start going on there with this big piece. I like the purple's tuning and the light on it . I also like the metals , and ithink going likethis , the figure will end to a super one !!! Bravo
