This little scene depicts a little Victorian boy lost in a English Midlands town. Help is at hand though as the friendly policeman has noticed the boy and is about to get him home safely.

The scene is comprised of two 54mm figures. The policeman is from the much missed Phoenix Victorian collection and the boy is from the Andrea Chaplin and the kid set. The signpost is scratchbuilt and shows some villages local to the Midlands town of Cannock where I live. The sharper eyed ones among you may notice that the village of Great Wyrley and town of Cannock featured prominently in a very recent adaptation on TV about the Wyrley horse maimings where the author of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle played by Martin Clunes attempted successfully to clear the name of George Edalji who was sentenced for the crime.

I hope you like it and as always I welcome all comments.
