A Fixture
1/10 Lord Flashheart & Baldrick from the Blackadder goes forth TV series, the bust's are produced by Rob Lane at Elan 13 miniatures.
I just couldn't resist having a go at this one, legs on both figure and arms on Baldrick were built up in stages over a copper wire frame, I did intend to show this as SBS but I'm afraid I got a bit carried away and just didn't stop to take photos of each stage, so thought I'd show you the finished article prior to priming and painting...(Yes Kev/NapI did say painting
)
Baldrick's glasses are temporary fixed with blu tac behind his ears and both figures need a clean up in a few places before priming,
Everything has been scratch built apart from the helmet on Baldrick's pack which came out of my spares box,
Milliput (green/yellow) and Magic sculpt (light grey) was used for the sculpting medium
I had a lot of fun putting this idea together even down to opening Baldrick's mouth and adding teeth,lips & tongue, hopefully I've captured bit of a gormless look about him as he stares up to his Godlike idol of Lord Flashheart stood arrogantly on the steps of a WW1 dugout/Trench.
Cheers
