    Hello everyone,
I know that this is a scale that most of us don't work in but due to my living conditions I have to go with this scale if I want to do dioramas. Now I do paint single figures in 54mm and larger,I just can't do dioramas but in 1/72nd.:(
So My question(s) to all of you is this, yes 1/72nd scale is small but can you still paint them like you would in 54mm?

Also, are there how-to videos on painting figures in this scale?
I have seen some videos on you tube but I just don't think they look very good.

Do they have how-to books out there that show you step by step in painting 1/72nd scale figures?

So I really hope you guys can help me out with this problem since my diorama is looking to have approximately 15-20 figures in it!
    Thank you
    Chris

    Hi Chris

That's a small scale but still lots of modelling , space is always a premium in most houses!

I suggest you have a look at You Tube videos

    Hi Chris.
1:72 scale is my scale of choice for the last eight years and I am really hooked now. You are right, there aren't much videos on how to paint decent collection figures, most of the videos I found are about fast-painted wargaming armies. My technique is the same as for what I used for 54mm, only I exaggerate a bit the colour contrast. Massive voodoo which Nap recommended you is a good site. There are also online communities and shows like Dioramica dedicated to small scale modelling.

These are two of my vignettes which I done in the past...
