I have mentioned this before in another thread but I'll repeat it again for anyone who missed it. Asda has childrens broomsticks in their Haloween section with strands of grass suitable for modelling. It is about 18'' long and can be cut to size

Thanks Brian! ... my nearest Asda, is over Dagenham way, and not easy for me to get to. Although you have sparked an idea! Old bristle/decorating brushes! for the same thing. old-paint-brush-4fba2b.jpg

Was in ASDA earlier and it is pretty good. Maybe a bit brittle but has a good shape and being a natural 'grass' has little tufts growing out of each strand.
BTW you don't have to buy the item there's loads of the stuff has come away and is lying loose on the shelf .........always the Scotsman :D

Asda, being out of the question for me! ... so, what is a good source/product, for long grass for (90-120mm) figures:( I looked at this 'Hudson and Allen', company, but are purely based in the States! with no other supplier!

Dyed deer hair is also good. Try angling sellers on ebay.
