It great to see Reenactor/ Livinig History impressions that are not the stereotypical ones a lot of folks think of when you say "Reenactor".

A likes...

Racoon tails hanging from their rifle.
Uniforms that are way too big or small...
not to mention inaccurate
Modern glasses/ sun glasses
Beer coolers in their tents.

B likes...

Original bayonets for their rifles
Original buttons on their uniforms
Officers carry original swords
Accurate uniforms and equipment
Sleeping under the stars as tents are for sissys.

If that photo is anything to go by they have got to be a reference source.

Roger, Most, if not all of them are from the Liberty Rifles. They do both Confederate and Federal "impressions". Check out their photo album, you'll be impressed. If you're going to use reenactors as one of your resources these would be the guys. These "hardcore" groups have a lot of knowledge. ~Gary
