Apologies for my lack of pics and updates this year, but I've been on a six month holiday from modelling. When I saw this cool Mayan Bust, sculpted by Master Meizi of Linjo Models, based on that really scary Mayan dude in "Apocalypto" I knew it was time to get back in my hobby room and wet my brushes again.

Still a long way to go and parts to paint and attach, but I wanted to update you on my recent progress.

Believe it or not, this bust is the first piece of modelling I've done in 2011.

Glad to see you back again, hopefully refreshed and recharged, and ready to assume your contributor's role here on the Planet. As always, your choice of subject is far-reaching. It will be interesting to see your take on this bust. Best regards, Don

Those eyes have really great character, so natural looking.

Skin tones look great, and over all, the palette holds together.

    welcome back!

    Cheers
