If that is hand painted and not a colour CAD image, then this is a world class paint job with probably the most realistic face in 1/35 (?) I have ever seen.

Difficult uniform colours to handle (and do convincingly) and superbly executed. Shame it's 1/35 and not 1/32 to pose alongside WW2 1/32 RAF model kits but irrespective, I am sure it will be very popular.

My 101 year old mother-in-law (still going strong) was a LAW WAAF Plotter and Radar Operator, so I suppose this is a must have in 1/16 (is there a UK stockist?).

I guess, Lee painted the 1/16 scale version - which is still an amazing show of craftsmanship.

@ Mike: From what I read on the LIFE Miniatures website, you can get their models in the UK from Historex, ElGreco and SK Miniatures.

Nice sculpt.... there are a handful of WAAF ladies out there, but none that I know of in 120mm... will have to take a look..

I just have to share this brilliantly painted version of her (in 1/16th), found on Putty & Paint and painted by an artist called "youngin".
