A very interesting and refreshing change of subject for some, but I am unsure who this will appeal to within the hobby given most females made the subject of a figure piece or bust tend to have some historical connection to the military? That said I understand the 'Marilyn Monroe' piece has done quite well and I have seen a few painted up myself.

The details and casting look to be superb, however I would be most interested to see the eventual box art because absent any paint and in truth, I could not have said who it was from the unpainted piece alone.

I like to see different subjects that aren't military related. I'm not sure they captured her look, though, I will need to see it painted. Looking at pics of Grace Kelly, to me, they missed it in her eyes, giving her a bit of a squinty, mean look, without enough arch to her eyebrows. I always thought that Grace Kelly was one of the most beautiful women I had seen without having that one standout distinctive feature, like everything was perfectly balanced and in harmony. I don't get that feeling from this bust, but seeing it painted may change that.

True, but as I recall, they provided both heads for that one. I would guess they meant this one to be of the real Grace Kelly and not Nicole Kidman, but who knows

Doing a little more research, I see there was a movie called Grace of Monaco which Nicole Kidman starred in, so I am guessing they were using that as the basis for the bust.

It's a great looking sculpt, but have to agree with Jason.

The eyebrows are thin and placed too low/close to her eyes. Her chin and cheeks too are not quite there, but this could be the harsh lighting detracting from the likeness.

Let's wait to see Sang-Eon weave his magic on this one.
Imagine satin, pearls, blonde & soft flesh tones - what a challenge!

It is definitely based on & intended to be the real Princess Grace,
in keeping with Life Miniatures ambition of keeping it real :)

    Stay safe
