Hello, here are a couple of pics of my latest figure.

I was inspired by a scratchbuilt figure of a similar subject by Jerry Hutter - I really liked the faded blueish-violet tone of the jacket, so I tried to create a similar colour. I used Osprey's Napoleon's Line Infantry for reference, but it's hard to know exactly what colours the Demi Brigade regiments wore in Egypt..

It's painted in acrylics. The section of wall was made with A+B putty and plasticard. Hope you like it.

You have done a lovely job on this , Edward, great tones. I would imagine the various colours would have faded out quite severely under the Egyptian sun, so I don't think anyone can query your palette ! ;)(y)

Edward, Nice job on the Metal Models figure. Egyptian Campaign one of my favorites. Nice touch on adding the wall!

Very crisp piece of painting Edward - I like the idea of the faded blue which adds a different look to the familiar 'French' blue

Thanks Paul. The coat is a blueish-violet. It actually looks a bit more violet in the flesh.

Lovely rendition of this Figurines BL figure and nice to see it in a new colour - I've seen it in red. crimson etc.

Cheers
