Here is my Lewis Gunner, 1916. Young Miniatures, painted with acrylics and oils

Great painting with just the right amount of weathering to associate this guy with the battle conditions of WW1, and well done with the colour mixes.
he has a mortar in his hand, and as far as I know a Lewis gunner operates an automatic rifle (machine gun)?
Nah,its the muzzle end of a Lewis gun, the bust doesn't include the entire weapon.
Superb painting, you've really captured a look of despair to the figure along with the filthy muddy uniform & kit he's wearing, Brilliant!..
That's what sort of put me off this bust when released as the Lewis Gun is such an iconic looking weapon the sculptor could have easily had the entire gun worked into the bust, since then I have seen a bust from another company that has the complete gun over the shoulder and that's the one that will get my money.
