Thank you very much Zeno. As part of a little experiment I managed to paint this with only 10 colours.

I must echo Zeno... love it!
As always, I'm amazed by the depth created on a flat figure.

Thank you very much Ulrich. This would look nice on one of the bases you showed me. I have a feeling it might need to be custom made. Shall I send you some measurements?

    Roger.

I really am... Right now my bench is loaded with stuff, trying to get ready for a show at the end of October. Perhaps after, I'll take a shot at one or two. Your flats show me what can be done with them... I'm so very tempted.

Absolutely great Roger. This is what I love the most about flats - the little scenes. Fantastic.

Well if you're tempted Colin don't hesitate to give me a shout if you need any suggestions for figs etc. (y)

Thank you very much Piotr, have you done anymore to the lancer flats you got?

I have not done anything to my stack of flats yet. Not much so much time for modeling at these days :)

I actually had a look at your blog Piotr and thought you hadn't done anything for awhile.

That is fast on such a big flat.
Like the way it turned up.
    How you gonna frame it.

Thank you Marc. It has taken two weeks but that is painting every day. I would like to put this on a base like the ones Ulrich showed recently specifically for flats.

Hi Roger, that's beautifully painted. I love how you've stuck to a limited palette - a great idea and it worked out a treat.
    Lovely little scene, mate!

    Hi Roger,
That has turned out nice mate, lovely example of flat painting, such depth and fullness in the figures. You could actually walk up those steps, swerve around those figures and walk right through that door.(y)
    cheers
