Cant remember the actors name, but he looks like the James Flint character from the TV series Black Sails. Nice sculpt.

I like it, but, not sure if it's the photos or what. But the pose just looks odd to me, can't place why. I'd need to see it I think

Hi Steve. I don't think it's so much the pose, it's that there's no sense of weight to the scope.
Would be better to have the hands gripping what was often a fairly hefty chunk of brass.
It's probably quite a natural way to hold it but sometimes it's better to modify things to create a 'look'
For me it just needs to be a bit more 'piratey' something simple like a pistol and / or a knife tucked int the belt

Yes this is modeled in the likeness of actor Toby Stephens who played Captain Flint in Black Sails which was an excellent show and if you get a chance to watch it by all means do so.
