lead foil for flags & straps?

Does anyone know where to get the type of metal foil that was once offered by Techstar? These metal sheets were very pliable and ideal to use for flags, canteen straps, gun slings, etc.
    Techstar has discontinued this line.

John, you can get rolls of pewter sheet at Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Look in the sculpting aisle with the embossing stuff. You'll also find aluminum and brass rolls. It's of similar material and quality as what Techstar used to offer. It may be a bit thicker though. I bought a roll the other day for around $12. There's enough material there to make probably half a dozen large flags and still have leftovers.

    thanks John

Thanks for reply....especially the part where you explain which dept in Michaels would have the product. I sometimes go to these craft stores for specific items, but never know where to look amongst their huge product assortments!

Thanks for the tip, John! I still use the seals off wine bottles and other scraps of metal foil. I didn't know Michael's carried anything like it.
