    Hi All!

Painted entirely in Vallejo and Andrea acylics. My first face in acrylics that I am reasonably happy with - perhaps being half covered by a beard helps!
Finally got the bottle to finish off the shield and am quite happy with it
Was a challenge for me as I wanted to portray timber planking although it wasnt sculpted so tried out simply painting it on.
To fill in the dead space at the back is a Verlinden resin barrel.
I really liked the mix I came up with for the metal barrel bands and shield edging etc. - Vallejo Gloss Black+Vallejo Chocolate Brown+Vallejo Oily Steel.

    Clinton,
you gotta love a Latorre figie! You have done a nice job with him. I have to say your wood plank effect on the back of the shield is a fantastic choice. It helps tremendously with that area visually and you have done a stand-up job painting it!
