Hello all Planet Figure members and friends. I just finished this classic piece from Latorre Models. An excellent oldtimes classic piece. I really had fun painting. This is the first Scottish figure, from a display that I'm preparing full of Scottish figures with tartan etc, on all scales. I hope you like this piece and of course any comments or critics are always welcome.

    Xenofon,

This is very good painted. Your Tartan looks awesome.
But in my opinion maybe you can do some more shading. All the colours looks very bright to me. But it is possible that the pictures don't show it.

Xenofon, from what I can see from the pictures, it turned out good.
Do you have any close ups?

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers
    Roc. :)

Damian, Roc, Marc thanks a lot for your comments.
Marc there are enough shadows for me, but the pictures can't show that.
Roc and Damian unfortunatelly that's the closest that my camera can shot :(

Beatiful tartan, and the treatment of the scarlet coat is exemplary. My only nit-pick is that I think that the sporran should be a darker brown, with white tassels?

Dear Xenofon , this is really a nice piece . I see that your Athens Expo experience really helped out . The face is really more alive and good looking . Your Tartan is really good looking . I might ask for some more shadowing but i know that pictures dont make justice to your figurewss at all. Nice work my friend !!!!!

Thanks a lot for your comment Dave. All the pictures that I found for the figure, they were showing white tessels with yellowish tassels, so I followed those. (if you check Gallardo's website, he has it painted as described).
Costas my good friend, thanks a lot for your comments. You know the quality of my photography and you are right about its justice to my figures.
