This wonderful figure has been painted from so many modelers what I wanted to make a different version of it. I studied the figure and what I did was to live everything except changing the pose of the hands over the sword. So I create a new sword and buildet new hands, overt it. I also changed the head position adding a beard and moustaches. The rest is the normal painting with, and a tried my best with, the always challenge, of the Cameron of Erracht tartan.
    I painted all with acrylic

I appreciate and welcome all yours comments

Great convertion, more character with the beard, my personal opinion is about the hands, I guess would be beter with the original hands, also some more contrast on the red jacket, I mean more zenith light on top and more shadows in lower parts as you did with the hat.

A few minor changes add up to a major improvement. Congratulations on taking the bold step to attempt to improve upon one of the best figures of all time. I think you've achieved your goal admirably.
