Latorre 54mm Viking

    Almost finished, just the left hand with the shield to finish. I have to pluck up the courage to do the shield design yet!

    One strange thing with the base is the reverse of the wall. The wall is only 2-3mm thick - certainly not the scale thickness should it supposedly represent an actual wall and also there is the same flag stones (paving) as at the front so I have painted it as per the front and plan to place a wooden type barrel in that dead corner.

    Not sure if you can see very well with the photo bucket resizing but I put brown/green washes aound the lower wall and step etc to indicate moss etc. Just an experiment really.

    Very nicely done Clinton. You really did a great job. Regarding the shield I would suggest you not to worry that much, because most if it would be hidden behind that wall.
