Here are a few photos of my latest project. It is from Alpine Miniatures. My daughter gave this to me as a Christmas gift. It is a really nice sculpt and pose, that I have wanted for sometime, but never picked up. This was a fun figure to paint, but the khaki gave me fits. I hope you like it.

Excellent painting. Yep. Khaki can be a nightmare to get looking 'just right.' You managed it though, without a doubt.

Thanks for the reply. It is good to know others have trouble with Khaki. I would rather paint white, black or any other just about any color.

Funnily enough, khakis, brownish-greens & ochres are the colours I find easiest to paint. It's everything else I struggle with .

Anyway, great job all round! Did you scratch the backdrop?

Thanks for the comments. Yes, the backdrop is scratch built. I used plastic sheeting to lay out the shape. The bricks are plaster that I laid individually and then added the mortar. Painted in acrylic and used oils and pastels to weather.
