Shapeways, just keeps improving, and the more they improve the less I think about buying a printer.
Here are some images of my recent prints. The light gray ones just arrived today.

The dark gray ones have already been cleaned up and primed for making molds, but the light gray ones haven't even been touched yet as I use this light gray wash to turn up imperfections that need fixing, and surprisingly there were few.

At least they are on easy to clean surfaces.

It does seem to be getting better!
