Evening all, more washes added to age the bones.

Hiya Nap, I am using the Army Painter Quickshade Dark Acrylic washes - they are really good as they can be applied straight out of the bottle or diluted if you don't wan't such a dark affect.

What's not to love - it's a dinosaur. Personally I would rather bring the formidable large herbivores like Triceratops, Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus back to life than those predators with rows of fangs!

Wee bit of an update folks - T Rex is now joined to the Pelvic bones and legs, and head and rear tail dry fitted (they will need gluing when I get some glue) - its a big monster.

As an addition I have started to rescue the Velociraptor from its grave -

Morning all, the raptor is assembled but still needs painting and washes, I placed him on my Rex base - gives a good idea of the size difference.

They're pretty scary as models. The real sized beasts (velociraptors were not as large as depicted in JP) must have been beyond terrifying.

Thanks Mike, I think the JP versions were modelled on the larger Utahraptor's.

Looking like a museum piece, very cool!

And good to know what can be done with the dino bones my son is chipping out of those blocks!
