So - this is a 1/12 scale roughtly 3 feet (90cm) from head to tail and about 1.5 feet tall, its a PVC plastic construction, and was roughly painted by the manufacturer.
I have decided to re paint it in a better colour scheme of bone like buff/sand colour followed by several dark washes to age and detail the bone, its and interesting build due to its large size - compared to my 28mm Waterloo figures.

Hope you find my build interesting - so here are the pics so far.........

It has a soft metal (Aluminium?) centre box section spine, this can be bent to get different shapes - but one has to be mindfull as it can leave gaps inbetween the spine ribs and expose the metal (I will probably piant Black on the metal spine where it shows).

With a skeleton like that, I can see making a museum vignette, of a little boy and his dad looking at it, and the boy explaining everything about Rexy to his dad, since we all know, little kids love dinosaurs and know more about them than the adults around them! ;)
I look forward to seeing your progress on this and what you eventually decide to do.
    Prost!

Evening all, I have started working on the washes on the Skull/head I started using a Black wash - just on the one side for now as it needs time to dry, I will then turn it over and do the same.

Very interesting and a bit different.
I bet the little guy in green is thinking; "If these things are about, I'm gonna need a bigger gun!" :joyful:
