Hi guys. This is something I've been working on lately. I used a converted historex horse and a commercial head for the figure plus some items of equipment from historex. Otherwise it's all scratch. Thanks for looking

i like this scene very much !
it's fun to think that i have in my project an absolute same composition with a " Lancier de la garde " in 1870 at Mars-la-Tour.
again congratulations for your work and hurry to see the paint

VERY nice work Stephan. I'm really looking forward to seeing you paint this and how you pull off the groundwork (with all the mud). You need to do some "Nappies" for production. This and your Chasseur are looking terrific!

Stephen, very fun piece! Did you add some detail to the business end of that horse? One of those pics looks as if he might be, well let's just say, anatomically correct. Whoa nelly!

    Hi Stephen!

This composition very beautiful! Interesting and dynamical poses! A successful arrangement of figures and qualitative details! I congratulate is a fine vignette!

Let me to tell not enough my opinion on a neck, a head and ears of a horse, look at mine of a picture, I badly speak and I shall better tell the supervision by lines in your photo.;-)
Yours faithfully, very beautiful figure, Sergey.

    Hi Stephen

Very nice work my friend, particularly the figures interaction with the horse, I hope you will have this finished for Euro, I would love to see it there.

Guys, thanks a lot for your positive feedback. I'm hoping to finish both this and the Chassuer for Euro.

Sergey, your insights are extermely informative. Thanks for taking the time. I have to admit that apart from the horse equipment and tack I didn't change much on the horse's anatomy. I am running out of time a little. In fact the only anatomical details I added to the horse was the detailing of the mouth area (tongue, teeth etc.). BDW, Sergey, I have posted for you a PM several weeks ago. Did you see it ?
