Hello again my friends,
after a 3 months work I finished a large diorama. I used commercial figures from a lot of companies ( Warriors, Tank, Alpine, Dragon, Alexander Miniatures, Verlinden) with minor conversions.
The subject is from the battle of Kursk at July of 1943 between the German and the Soviet armies.
A friend helps a lot with the modelling of the tanks, a Tiger and a T-70.
I hope you like my work, cheers
Christos

Christos, a great idea for a diorama, excellent groundwork and superb painting of all the figures shown. Look forward to seeing it all come together.:D

Cheers Ken

it is a hell of a fight...

Hi Christos,

I´m dizzy now, this one take my breath away, its ABSOLUTING FANTASTIC:eek:(y)
Everything are awesome, groundwork, figures, panzers...
Very dynamic dio, the figures are in a correct places. Delicious.

Many thanks for sharing this with us.:)(y) and Εύχομαι ότι η χώρα σας γρήγορα να επιστρέψετε στην κανονική οικονομική, ότι όλα θα πάνε καλά για όλους σας.

Γεια σου φίλε Pedro (Πέτρο), ευχαριστώ για τα καλά σου λόγια.
Ηello my friend Pedro, thank you for your nice words.
Όλα θα πάνε καλά.

I had some fun spotting which is which for the numerous figure kits.

So ... to what extent are the tanks "yours"? Cos the Tiger looks amazing!

I always love to have someone handle the tanks for me... It's a completely different department and I would be out of my depth to put myself in a position where I aim to do both satisfactorily. That said, there are plenty on display where the tanks are phenomenal but the figures are a joke, or the other way round...

This dio rocks! Packed with action, well executed and balanced. The figures, the tanks, groundwork, all of it very well painted, and really draws the viewer into the action. Great work!

Thank you all my friends for your warm feedbacks,
ok Tse I put a little of figure painting technics on that Tiger, is that so obvious?
To tell you the truth from the time I found that friend to model the tanks, I am satisfying a long time desire to create such a dioramas.

Thats a great scene with greatly painted figures. I admire your persistence and patience, especially bearing in mind your vietnam scene!

You know, people always ask for figures in action poses.
But you rarely see vignettes/dioramas with such figures.
It's refreshing to see so many action posed figures in a
single work. It looks like you're having a great time here!
Hope you pay more attention to the ground work... :)

Christos thats definately a huge job , and i know how painful is to paint several 1/35 figures ! The result is a very nice scene tight, with perfect setting and very good tones in all colored pieces.

My sincere congratulations for copleting so successfully thwi comission !

Best Regards

Costas
