I have just finished this lovely bust from Michael Miniatures of an Oberleutnant first class of kuk Ulanenregiment Fuerst zu Schwarzenberg Nr. 2 c.1910. Although part of the Austro-Hungarian army the majority of soldiers were Polish. The regiment was part of I Korps whose HQ was krakow and it's peaetime garrison was Tarnów.

Lovely work Roger. An excellent bust mate. Whether in 2 or 3 dimensions, your painting is getting better all the time.

nice work, happy to see you also like to research the regiment that you painted. Always fun to know the history of the unit. I would like to see a photo of the back side of the bust,if you can please.

Thank you Mike, I'm pleased you like my version. I enjoy the research aspect of our hobby as much as the painting.

No problem, I'll post a rear view shortly.

Marcel, thank you, yes I've started on a three figure "flat" vignette. :D

John, cheers, my birthday is November 5th and I've decided my gift to myself when it becomes available will be the upcoming release by Michael Miniatures of the Leutnant of 4th Hussars von Schill 1 Schlesisches c.1910 bust as shown on their website.

    Dan, thanks very much. :)
