Here are the first pics from my next project. This is a 54mm Hecker & Goros figure depicting a soldier of the Regiment Konigs Jager zu Pferde No.1. Part of V Korps. Garrisoned at Posen. (Modern day Poznan in Poland.)
These were the newest mounted units in the Imperial German Army, raised to the status of regiments as recently as 1905.
This figure will form part of a vignette of Imperial German soldiers stood around a village fountain c.1905. Well thats the plan anyway :) .
Early days yet but if anyone has any constructive comments about the figure or questions about the regiment and it's uniform please feel free to post them.

    Roger.

Very nice, Roger! And I'm sure it'll make an attractive vignette.

    All the best,

Cheers Dan. The plan is to have two or three foot figures and possibly a mounted one.

Made some more progress on the infantry figure. He has been painted to represent a soldier of Colbergsches-Grenadier-Regt. Graf Gneisenau (2.Pommersches) Nr.9
