    Gidday,
Have made a start on an Aussie in New Guinea .I bought a recent publication of the story of the Kokoda trail .It is a very interesting read.So have started a 1/10 bust of a Digger having a break from combat.Magicsculpt is the material used, comments welcome.

Andy - my only complaint is you just make it look TOO DARNED EASY!

    :)

So much character in your faces of the pieces you do.

And I agree with Dan. . . you make it look so easy. Ah yes, "Talent will be
    served". . . Big time,

    Gidday,
The work continues. Most of the shirt is done.Had to rework the epulettes on the shoulders and a second go at the proportions of the arm. There is still much clean up and crisping up of detail, even though am trying to finish as I go.Comments welcome.

    Ian,
thanks for the comment. The thumb on our man looks a bit too big so am skimming it down abit as it tends to make the hand a little on the big side.

    Hi Andy,

Really nice work mate. What head gear will you be putting on him?? The obvious choices would be the slouch hat or a helmet.

Although earmarked as a Kokoda trail figure, there is no reason why he couldn't be painted as some "Soldier Settler" , one of those soldiers who ended up with a parcel of land to develop.

He strikes me as being a 'cocky' of some kind, either pre war, or maybe painted to be a post war one.

Additionally, with a small amount of work, switch the cigarette for a pencil, he could be one of those diary artist soldiers too!!

    Good stuff Andy.

    cheers
