Thanks guys. I am almost finished and I should post some pictures of the finished piece tonight but here are a few others. I still have to finish the flag and a few loose ends.

Anders, here is a little mud. I will have more on it in the finished pictures. The pictures don't show it but the caparison is actually a lot darker. The reason for not too many shadows on the top is he will be wearing a cloak. Thanks on the crosses but I cheated, I masked them and then airbrushed the shape on, then painted them in with the brush.

Thanks on the whites. I think they are better in person. I will try to take a few better picture without using this flash and maybe it will show the colors better.

The snow is a product that I purchased from the hobby shop. It is in the train section. It is Accurate Dimensionals Scale Landscaping. They are out of CO. I took their product and mixed it with baking soda. I applied it using matt medium.
