    Hi again,

First of all I excuse myself for reposting again this figure...but this mentioned was due to my laziness in research :(

hopefully I have good friends that expertly pointed out that the cross has to painted on the left side on the heart....(the opposite that I painted it) and Hospitallers didn't wear Latin Crosses at that period of time...they wore a potance cross.....

In addition I replaced the gilded parts(sword hilt, scabbard, buckels etc) woth iron paint ;)

This is going to serve me a BIG LESSON to make good research before applying/splashing paint :D

To answer the posts from the previous thread...This figure is from Andrea Miniatures in 90mm scale and you can find it from HIstorex etc

    Thx for looking,

    Samwel Vella

Well done Sam, it's not easy to correct a painted figue like that but you've done a superb job. You're lucky to have mates to help you with your research.

well i for one cant notice the correction so you have made a good job there Sam, cant be easy finishing a figure and then having to make changes like this, especially when you have to remix the paint and get a match.

    Nice figure,

    Steve

Wonderful figure Sam, even with the correction, which I am sure Ivan told you about.
How did you do the red, colours etc. as you have done such a lovely job of the surcoat?

    Samwell,
My hat is off to you. Most would have said "I'll correct on the next figure."
this looks great and you would not know the correction. Great job.
    Cheers
    John.

Thx for all the comments guys....

@ Don....The mix is a faded red....MAimeri Acrylics used and Andrea unless stated otherwise...

    BAse mix: Carmine

1st highlight: add Brilliant Orange to BAse
    2nd Highlight: more brilliant orange
3rd highlight: add Beige(Andrea) to the brilliant orange and apply it to the most prominent areas that catch light :)

1st Shadow: add Sap Green to the Base
2nd SHadow: use black for the deepest of shadows and outlining :)

    Regards mate,
