    Hi all,

Included is a picture of a figure I'm painting now for a special friend from Greece. It's 54mm, white metal and by Andrea. He is the main character from the Kingdom of heaven movie. Most figures I've seen had him wearing the red/white tunic, so I had to paint the blue one. At the moment I'm trying to get a more or less decent resulton the heraldry. As always, all is done in acrylics.

All critism is very much appreciated.

    Greetz,

    Gino

    Hi Gino,

The face is just great (y)! Maybe just the right eye needs a bit more definition (IMHO).
    Keep up the good work.

    Johan ;)

    Gino,

Great work. Now we seen here on the planet two masters painting the same figure at the same time. But it is pretty good to see that each of you paint another heraldic.
Well, i hope that you bring him the 10 of januari at the clubs newyears drink.

    Hi all,

The figure is finnished. I didn't tried to represent an historical correct figure, but the actor from Kingdom of heaven. I used acrylics, inkts and Migpigments on this figure. The shield in the groundwork is by Pegaso, the base is from DMC designs. The figure will be send to a Greek figure painter/collector but most of all a very good friend!!!

All remarks are very much appreciated,

    Gino

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the great replies. It's very appreciated.

    Hello Pascal,

I just looked a couple of times to the movie (which was something I loved to do) and freezed the movie when I got a good view. I searched the net, but couldn't find any pic that was good.

Ransart was a SUPER show. I was there as a vendor, and since it was so busy I didn't saw much of the competition. I had about an hour on sunday morning and what I saw was very inspiring. BTW, who won BOS? I think it was Marijn, but I'm not sure.

    Hello Roc,

Next will be a British paratrooper in Arnhem. It's a 1/35th resin figure by Platoon with a resin head. I can't show pics of it on the net yet, as it is for a magazine who want it completely exclusive. Sorry.

I have here a better pic of the King of Jeruzalem though.
