Painted in oils over enamels.
I tried to keep his eyes as bright as might were when the King responded to persian envoy, "Μολῶν λαβέ" (Come if you dare and try to get our arms).

Actually, this particular bust by Alexandros miniatures, is a perfect basis for a realistic painting.
