Maybe a stupid question but when you baked the cover did you put the jeep in the oven as well, would the temperature you have it set on effect the plastic ?
Is the milliput harder after baking than it would normally be after air drying.

yep, baked the whole kaboodle, i've yet to have a kit warp (wierd i know)...
actually for rolling such thin sheets i've used Aves Apoxie Sculpt..
yes, it's much harder after baked rather than airdried..

Gordy, what temperature do you bake the milliput and for how long, I'd like to give this a go.

I can't say the exact temperature since i'm certain the dial is not accurate, it is at it's lowest setting.
I will put a thermometer in it next time to get a more "scientific" reading

ok, i measured it lastnight with a thermometer:

100º F

37º C

about 15-20 minutes time..
