I've been trying to keep myself busy,so i'm working on these 3.
Great work on the hospitaler Bri,I love the blacks and the pilot is also very nice so far.
Is the figure a Mike blank sculpt ?
Good work on all three. Very much like the black of the hospitaler
All three look great but the crusader knight is special. Love the facial expression.
Looking good so far , agree with Tony that facial expression is great ( who makes the knight)
Looking forward to seeing how the busts progress especially
Do you find it easy to move between subject and scales?
Thanks for sharing
Looking great Brian. The black is beautifully done, I'll be interested to find out the mix.
For me though the first thing that drew my attention was the fur collar and lining on the WWI airman. As well as being superbly painted it frames the face perfectly.
lovely work on all 3 figures. i really love the faces, very expressive.
It's a bust by a fairly new company called LAB 54.I got it from El Greco miniatures in the U.K. He's 1/12th scale and comes as one piece. There is also a booklet you can buy from the same company giving you an sbs how Danilo Cartacci painted him as a templar.
It's only recently that i've been jumping from one to the other and find it o.k. Less boring for me .
Thanks Brian.Yes it's sculpted by Mike Blank and is produced by a company called Darkstar Miniatures
Great stuff, Brian, good to see wide diversity of subjects.......all three look absolutely the dog's doodahs
Great work on the 3 , especially like the hospitaler.
Yep, that's definitely keeping busy Brian. I'd be hard pushed to pick out a favourite all three look great, maybe the pilot just edges for me though because of the pose and facial expression.
I echo Roger's feelings. The hospitalier is my favourite.
Looks like you have been busy mate, look forward to getting a closer look at them.
Hi Brian, always great to see your work. The Mike Blank figure turned out a real treat. Also think the pilot is excellent and as said the blacks on the knight look brilliant.
Catch up with you soon,
The Knight is finished but, the other 2 are basically undercoats, other than the faces ,of course
Excellent faces on all three.
I particularly like the way you've achieved a natural looking white beard on the knight.
Wow, Great stuff Brian! I think the Hospitaller is my favorite.
Very nice Brian, any of them coming to S&L ?
Probably my friend.
