    Hi all

This one was inspired by my recent visit to the metropolitan museum in New York where they had a complete chinese court yard on the second floor and half a dozen french 17 and 18th cent rooms .
A museum packed to the roof with superb displays .

I will do a short sbs on the making of the base and display scene in th completed fig section once I have this finished .

That type of arch is commonly known as a moon gate Steve , the carved stone above the arch translates to heaven gate , according to google that is
Chinese gardens are generally entered by those types of arch which tend to be tranquil places of meditation , so you gotta be a Scholar before this guy lets you in.

No Paras and definitely no Marines :D

Absolutely cracking piece of modelling. Particularly like the flesh tones and the setting is outstanding. (y)
Is there a significance to the blue left hand?

The idea is great with the background. So you have to visit New York to find it (long way ;)) The figure and the background works together very good
