Next up is Kaylee, (Jewel Staite) from the Firefly series. This is my very first airbrushing! I have played around with one when I was a kid but I have never done figure work or detailing what so ever. I am very pleased with how it came out! I wish the tones transmitted through the camera.. The hair is still hand painted because I am not comfortable with masking and didn't want to damage the perfect skin tones. the eyes are my own designed decals.

I wish there was a way to display these at the Lone Star show this weekend so many of you could see them in real life!

Enjoy! And Thanks to Jamie Stokes for his advice and resources!

Much nicer finish, has that subtler finish to her.

Think you've got that "girl next door" look she had, and yeah, once the skin is airbrushed, I'll brush paint the hair (and do it slowly, rather then have a sloppy brush moment ruin the skin!)

I agree with you on the lighting not displaying the figure to it's best, there are some tips by others here on the planet.

Thanks for the mention, knowledge unshared, is knowledge lost!

    Cheers

Ha! thanks Shawn. maybe a little bit too shiny...

Thanks Stephan, it can only get better right?

Thanks Jamie, I will really work on the photography on Zoe. Gotta get to the point where all of you guys can see what I see!

Zoe will be up this week. Tones are darker than I imagined in my head but she looks real good so far!
