here is a Jeff Shiu figure I finished a little while back. A little filler for me before I start My Peleliu diorama. The figure is 120MM and is painted as usual in Vallejo acrylics. The ground work is DAS airdry clay with tinted Envirotex Lite 2 part epoxy clear for the water.

All of your finished figures look great, but this one is particularly well done.

Very nice, like the way you painted it

The ground work show him walking a declivity, water don't care about declivity; it always run horizontaly

    Hi Dan,

I love your painting style and this one is no exception. The folds on the lower right leg do seem very akward though. Or is this the angle of the picture? Superb groundwork by the way!

Dan, that's great work once again! The helmet camouflage is an original touch.

How did you mount the MG?
It looks like you used lead foil for the gun sling. Does it give a strong enough way to fix the gun?
I have this one assembled and primed, but have yet to find a strong enough solution for fixing the gun before I start on it.

    Cheers

Superb as usual Dan. The only thing I'm not too keen on is the helmet camo. It seems a bit bright to me, and I find my eye immediately drawn to it and away from the rest of the figure. A minor quibble though.

Whats up G. Nah it's not the angle, it's the sculpt. It kinda looks like the bottom portion of the trouser are kinda like folded into his boot. Looks a little funky, I agree.
