Open Book John "Black Jack" Kehoe - Model Cellar Review

    Last month Model Cellar brought us an unusual subject seldom seen in the miniature market with a bust of John "Black Jack" Kehoe of the "Molly Maguires" . An Irish Immigrant coal miner from the coal mines of Pennsylvannia. Sculpted by the talented Carl Reid with the box art painted by Sang-Eon Lee this kit is cast in 8 parts resin in 1/9th scale.

    Packaged in Model Cellar's sturdy brown cardboard box the kit comes sealed inside a plastic bag and wrapped in bubble wrap. The kit comes in 8 resin parts as seen above.

    The above top photograph shows the 2 part pick and below you see the front of the canteen miners carried with them into the mines.

    An excellent kit we will be sure to see on many show display tables. Excellent dry-fitting of parts. Some seam lines need to be removed. Highly recommended.
