More outstanding 1/6 busts from Blackheart Models. I’m admittedly not much of a sports fan, but this set of inspirational heroes really speaks to me. Primed in grey and undercoated with verdaccio tones.

Really lovely busts, interested in how you're building up the skin tones on these three iconic men.

Excellent start. Nice sculpts. Something a bit different.

I've experimented a little in the past with verdaccio. Nice results to be had with it!

Excellent tones and impressive how that green base builds the tones.

Great work, I've never tried non-Caucasian flesh tones, I would find that very challenging. Yiu are doing a great job here.

That's a big challenge for me. Trying to do these justice! I'm really trying to dedicate a few years to learning acrylics, but the oils may come out for final shading.

A bit more refining on Joe Louis.

Working on Jackie Robinson. I over did his highlights, so I’ll need to go back and work up the shadows a bit. Trying to vary the skin tones to reflect them as they appeared. Challenging for guys who mostly appear in black and white photos, or 60s color pics that are quite yellowed and faded.
