Would look great alongside the WWI Sniper Jeff does, but those hands on the gunner are gunna go first! Geddit, gunna...

On seeing these, I noted my hand drifting towards my wallet, which is not a good sign... Those hands on the gunner really let the figure down, but Royal Models, among others, have 1/16 scale hands available. Having just watched 'AQOTWF', I'm inclined to do a WWI vignette with these guys.

    Very nice scene.
I just had to find out how much weight that machine-gunner had to carry around: 20.8 kgs for the MG 08/15, 9-11 kgs for the Sappenpanzer and another 1.3 kgs for the helmet - so altogether between 31 and 33 kgs on top of his uniform and field equipment. Poor sod...

I already have the WW1 sniper and as already pointed out these 2 new figures would be perfect to form a Vignette so very tempted however I just don't like the thought of having to start replacing hands, how hard is it for a talented guy like Jeff to put this right before the figures go to casting, with so many companies raising the bar to give us almost straight to brush quality it's a pity that skeleton like hands can let the rest of the figure down.
