Another great addition to your range of Fallschirmjagers Jeff, & the pose is technically brilliant; it really conveys the weight of the flamethrower on his back.
I like the painted version too - I may well be tempted to order one of these!

    Hi Jeff

Nice looking release , like the body poison and certainly different with the frame thrower

I thought the pose conveyed tension, as he looks forward, pistol drawn, weary about going forward, maybe into a trench or room he’d just flamed out. Either way, great piece. Some really good details, too: texture on the pipping, dog tags, the lanyard, I could go on. About the only thing I’ll change is the helmet netting. It, to me, looks like threads of putty laid across the helmet. A minor matter if at all.

Now you come to mention it, I'm not really keen on the helmet netting either. I think it would look better either with the standard Fallschirmjager helmet cover with foliage loops, or possibly the sand-textured rolled in wet paint version. But as you say, a minor matter - it doesn't detract from the overall quality of the figure, which as usual from Jeff, is top-notch.
If you're reading this Jeff, no offence intended - just a constructive comment.

A quick question, which theatre does this figure best represent, please? I was thinking, maybe the siege of Sevastopol, or Crete? Did the Fallschirmjager use flammenwerfers on Crete?
