some progress

The last days I finally found some time to paint due to some free days here in Holland. And made some progress on 'Jean'.
I finished highlighting and shadowing of the blue color and the "fleur de lis" on the front and back of the figure.
And I also finished his little sword still have to do the other. At the moment I'm still strugling with his two color belt to get the lines straight.
The knee caps recieved a bronze base color and need some shading and highlighting.

Excellent blending and shading of the blue. The chainmail and armor are fantastic. Love the flesh tones too. This will be an outstanding figure when its completed.

update

Here is another update on Jean le Bon.
I have been busy the last days painting the shield and his right arm. The arm is finished and glued to the figure together with his sword. I applied more shadow on the metal parts especially on the legs. On the inside of the shield I tried to create a wood pattern, hope it looks ok. The figure is more or less finished, still have to do some work on the hand and the shield belt before it’s totally finished. I also spend some time on creating a base for this little fellow.
