    Hey Kenneth!

The over all scene is looking great my friend!

I love the flesh tones, they are really good, would you mind sharing your color mix? The fellas shoes are also reallly cool, it looks like the ninja type shoes we wore when I practiced Nippon Tai Jutsi.

I have a couple small pointers though :)

On some of the pictures you can still see the putty underneath the paint on some of the leaves so maybe just touch up these areas.

Also, the palm leaves seam to be the same color as the uniform, now this may be my own ignorance as they might be the same color, but even if they are, maybe a slight change of tone would help a little to stay away from the mono tone look.

Again, these are just some small things, I think you did great on this project, one to be proud of!

Anders,Joe,thanks for your encouraging comments;I really appreciate them :lol:The flesh tones were courtesy of Jaume,I just added a touch of Salmon Pink to give it a slightly Oriental tinge. Anders, the palm leaves are actually a different shade from the uniform;I suppose my poor photography made everything look the same ! As for the unpainted areas, would you believe I only spotted them after I'd posted the photos  ! I've since gone back to touch-up the affected areas. Thanks for pointing it out anyway,Anders.Cheers !

    Hey Kenneth!

Photography is a very useful tool when looking at ones work, I have often gone back and fixed things that I didn't see in person but I saw in the pictures. Whats your next project?

very nice!! nice change of subject.
One question i have(not a critique, just curiosity) i thought the Japanese uniform had more khaki in their uniform? :)

Rob and Thomas, thank you ever so much for your positve comments;I really appreciate them ;) Thomas, the Japanese uniform during that period could vary in colour from a dark greenish to almost pure khaki. It really depended on the quality of the materials used, which was extremely poor most of the time ! Anders,I may do another WW II Jap or the colour-bearer of "Old Abe",the famous ACW mascot eagle.I'll definitely let you guys know once I've decided. Thanks and cheers !
